About Us
Wayne’s Water N Wells was formed in 1981 when Wayne T. Bolden purchased the company from Bud Tressler of Tressler Well Drilling. Wayne got his background in the water-well industry when he worked as a service man for a local hardware store. He developed an extensive knowledge of pump repair and water conditioning and knew it was an industry he could serve well. When Wayne purchased the company it had only one 1966 T-64 Schramm drilling rig and only two employees - Bud and Wayne. Things were slim, and Wayne actually used his family vehicle for a service vehicle. Since then the business has gone two directions, up and out. Now running four Atlas Copco drilling rigs, each with the potential to drill to deeper depths and larger diameters than ever before, Wayne has managed to service the market in many ways others can’t. Our diverse services have put us to work anywhere from the coal mines of West Virginia to the baseball parks of Grantsville, Maryland. Check out the rest of our page to see what we’re about.

1988 Wayne and Linda Bolden bought two acres on Rt 219 where headquarters is now located.

1987-88 Wayne updated his drilling rigs from low pressure/low volume air packages to high pressure / high volume.

1992 Wayne purchased a 1988 Ingersoll Rand T-3, first real high-volume high-air end that enabled down-the-hole hammer drilling

2002 Wayne assisted in the Quecreek mine rescue - 9 for 9

2006 Purchased Masons Barn of Cumberland, Maryland to add another branch
