Geothermal
If you’re looking for your way to help with global warming, look no further! Geothermal heating and cooling solutions is a sure way to make an impact for the better. If you haven’t heard of this technology, check out our links to conduct some research. We at Wayne’s Water N Wells assure that you will be 100% satisfied with a loop system installed by us. Wayne entered the geo-thermal market in the late 80’s, seeing its benefits, but, until recently, it has been a technology no one has talked much about. With rising oil and gas prices, everyone is at their wits ends with foreign markets jacking the prices up and pinching your finances even tighter. Be at their mercy no more! Geothermal systems do have a larger upfront cost, which is the intimidating factor, but once these systems are installed, they are virtually maintenance free and only require electricity to run them. It is estimated that cost savings are in the area of fifty percent (50%), and paybacks are seen in as little as five years.
How it works: Closed loop systems use an antifreeze solution that is circulated through plastic pipes placed in our bore holes beneath the earth's surface. In the winter, the fluid collects heat from the earth, which is a constant 55 degrees, and carries it through the system and into the building. It is then run into a furnace that goes through a series of rather complex steps and takes the temperature up to that which you desire. Once the temperature is at the desired level, it is then passed through the house. In the summer, the system reverses itself to cool the building by pulling heat from the building and placing it in the antifreeze that flows through the loops. The loops carry the heated fluid through the system, and it is then displaced into the ground. Please contact us if you have any questions, and we will be more than happy to answer them.
